According to a representative with the firm, the updated plan would help the town make decisions about future wastewater improvements and anticipate needs that may arise.
Last week, a public hearing was held on North Judson’s application for a pre-development planning grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development office. Commonwealth Engineers says the updated plan will cost a total of $37,500. The grant is estimated to cover 75-percent of that cost.
North Judson Clerk-Treasurer Alicia Collins says the plan would tie into the work being undertaken by Commonwealth Engineers on the town’s water towers.
