LaCrosse Excursions Canceled
May 09, 2016
The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum regrets to inform our loyal passengers that we have been forced to cancel all trips to LaCrosse for the foreseeable future. This is due to an on-going legal dispute over control of the railroad line owned by the Town of North Judson and operated by the Chesapeake & Indiana Railroad.
While we won’t get into the particulars of this legal battle at this time, we feel that it is important to make our passengers aware of the situation. We know that our LaCrosse excursions are extremely popular and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.
For the time being, we are replacing our 2:00 pm LaCrosse trip with a shortened trip to English Lake. The 12:30 pm trip to English Lake will remain unchanged. Passengers who already purchased tickets for any LaCrosse trip should contact us for a refund.
We will keep you updated with any changes.
