RIP April

In November, 2011, we lost a valued member of the READ program. RIP April, we will miss you.

Thank You!

The acknowledgement is late but the words are sincere - Thank You to everyone who shared the Christmas Spirit by adopting a family or donating something under the Angel Tree. Each of the gifts was distributed to families and children in Starke County and made their holiday a bit brighter.

Anubis the Christmas Dog

Anubis guarding the gifts under the Angel Tree at the library. She wants to thank everyone who brought in a gift and will make sure they stay safe until picked up by Santa's helpers.

READ Jr. Tale Time December 17th

On Saturday Anubis will be in for READ Jr. Tale Time at 11 a.m.  While she doesn't know it yet, there is a red jacket and some reindeer antlers in her future!  We'll make sure to get her picture taken and on the web tomorrow.

Want to Earn Your Wings?

As everyone knows, this is not the best of times.   But if you have holiday spirit to share why not consider being an angel to someone less fortunate than you.

Starting November 28th the North Judson-Wayne Township Library will be accepting donations of non-perishable foods and toys to be distributed within Starke County.

If you are interested, we also have the names of a few children that you can “adopt” for Christmas; just call the library at 574-896-2841.
