
The Town of North Judson is also celebrating its sesquicentennial, with an ice cream social from 1 until 3 p.m. at the town hall.
Musical performances from the N.J. Pickers, Jim Post, Justified and Half Track will be featured throughout the day and into the evening hours at Norwayne Field. Other activities include puppet and magic shows, the frog jumping contest, a corn hole tournament and horse and carriage rides beginning at noon and continuing through at least dusk. They will leave from Adair Street across from the library.
WKVI’s Lenny Dessauer and Mary Perren will be tasting their way through the festival today, and the WKVI car and staff will be in tomorrow’s parade. It starts at 3 p.m. at the high school and will come down State Road 10 through town.
Tomorrow’s highlights include an outdoor worship service at St. Peter Lutheran Church and a Heartland Christian Worship Service. North Judson American Legion Post 92 will conduct a flag burning ceremony at 1 p.m. Sunday musical performances include Get Lucky and Junior and the Igniters.
