It's time for the annual Starke County Humane Society Port-a-Pit Chicken.
Advanced tickets are $5.50 and can be purchased at the Humane Society or from members. On-site tickets are $7.00. You can pick up the chicken at the Knox Five Star parking lot from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at the North Judson Burger King parking lot from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
As an adoptee from the SCHS I encourage you to buy lots of tickets, especially if you are having company. If you don't know where to get tickets ask mom to get them for you, and by the way, this chicken freezes very well. - Anubis
