The Constellation of Starke has revealed the region’s logo.
To create this one-of-a-kind image, the Stellar Executive Team coordinated with the owners of Mirth and Whimsy.
The marketing company provided a number of variations that can be used interchangeably but the main elements consist of an outline of Starke County, a hand-written lettering style, a sandhill crane in flight and a constellation of stars marking all the communities that make up the region.
The sandhill crane was selected because it is a popular bird known to this region but coincidentally the participating communities make up a constellation that has a pattern that resembles the wings and tail of the bird.
In addition to revealing the region’s logo, Constellation of Starke now has a few more ways you can keep up with the Stellar process and contribute input. The group has increased its web presence and now has pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Other than keeping people informed about important dates and major developments, these sites will also give officials a chance to know what the community has to say. One way to make sure the final regional development plan really reflects the area is to hear from the people who call it home.
Feel free to share photos and stories; help provide a peek into Starke County’s history and show how you envision the community’s future. Click the links above to access Constellation of Starke’s social media sites.
