Starke County EMS Searching for Paramedics

Starke County EMS Director Keith Emigh is still looking for paramedics to cover shifts at the county’s three bases. His goal is to have paramedics on staff around the clock, seven days a week. Doing so allows the county to provide Advance Life Support service.
Paramedics can provide higher levels of care to patients than EMT’s can. If adequate ALS coverage is available, Starke County EMS can transfer patients between medical facilities. Doing so generates money for the county.
Paramedics interested in applying for jobs with Starke County EMS can contact Emigh at 574-772-9140.
