The Fourth of July falls on a Saturday this weekend but
several local government offices and establishments will observe Friday as a
part of the national holiday. This means many places around the area will be
closed to the public over the weekend.
All government facilities in Marshall, Starke and Pulaski
counties will be closed all day Friday. Operations will resume with regular
business hours on Monday July 6.
All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle license branches will
also be closed Friday July 3 and will stay closed through Monday July 6. They
will resume normal business hours on Tuesday July 7. For a complete list of
branch locations and hours visit the Indiana BMV website.
