North Judson-San Pierre school officials continue exploring potential facility improvements. Representatives from architectural firm Fanning Howey are scheduled to visit N.J.-S.P. tomorrow, according to Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin.
“No students will be around. We won’t disturb anyone,” she recently told the school board. “And we will walk around the elementary to see what we need to upgrade there. We’ll look at the middle school, just because they need to see what we have there. We’ll look at the bus garage and some athletic structures, ticket booths and things like that. And then that will give us a good indication of how are we going to move forward in doing some of the work at the elementary.”
Zupin explained that Fanning Howey was originally scheduled to visit earlier this spring, but the visit was delayed to avoid interfering with testing. The company oversaw several capital projects at the school corporation last year. Zupin previously said this potential next round is still a couple years away.
