Starke County Election Board Establishes Training Dates for Poll Workers

Starke County Election Board members are in election preparation mode. Clerk Vicki Cooley said they discussed the training dates for poll workers when they met Wednesday morning.

Cooley said the training days will be held on Tuesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 3rd from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, May 5th from 10 a.m. until noon.

Cooley said this year, poll workers can pick up their machines and bags from the courthouse from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 6th. Workers are encouraged to ask any remaining questions at this time.

Primary elections will be held from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8th. Follow the link provided, to view a list of voting locations for Starke County precincts .
