The last day to register to vote in the 2015 municipal primary is Monday, April 6. The municipal primary will include those looking for Knox City Council seats in Districts 1-4, Mayor of Knox, City Clerk-Treasurer and Judge of City Court.
Those seeking a seat in the town elections in Hamlet and North Judson will be a part of town conventions if there are opposing party candidates. Candidates chosen in any town convention will be on the General Election ballot.
Registrations must be received in the voter registration office by 4 p.m. on April 6 or postmarked on that date.
The first day to cast an absentee ballot in person in the Clerk’s office will be Tuesday, April 7. Applications for absentee voting by mail or travel board are now being accepted. To receive an application, call the Starke County Voter Registration Office at 772-9160.
