Not a 4-H Member? No Problem!

Are you looking for a way to exhibit your cooking or craft skills? Purdue Extension has a way for you to do so at the Starke County 4-H fair. The open class category allows for anybody to make entries.Categories include agriculture, gardening, cake decorating, sewing, cross stitching, quilting, ceramics, fine arts and photography. There are some special interest categories such as Christmas at the fair, holidays and special occasions, hobbies, collectibles and recyclables.

The entry date for exhibits with the exception of foods and flowers is Saturday July 12th from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Judging for this category starts at 12:30 p.m.

The entry date for non-gardening foods is Monday July 14th from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and judging will commence at 12:30 p.m.

The entry date for vegetables, fruits and flowers is Thursday July 17th from 9 a.m. until noon. Judging for the garden foods and flowers category will take place shortly after all entries are in.

All judging is closed to the public.
