HealthLinc in Knox is celebrating National Health Center Week. On Aug. 8 from 3 until 6 p.m. a variety of free activities will be offered at their location behind IU Health Starke Hospital. One of the main offerings is no-cost back-to-school physicals and immunizations for youngsters who do not have health insurance.
Appointments are necessary to access those services. Call 574-772-7400 to schedule.
A number of walk-in services are available as well, including story time, yoga, ju-jitsu demonstrations and backpacks with school supplies. Lots of community vendors will be set up, and singer Megan Nicole will perform.
