Starke County Historical Society Annual Meeting

Don't forget, the Starke County Historical Society's Annual meeting is at 6:00 p.m. CST, November 15, 2012, at the Knox High School Cafeteria.

It is a Carry-in dinner.  You bring a covered dish.
We are providing meat, beverages, silverware, cups,  plates, and napkins.

If you cannot come for the meal, come at 6:45, anyway, to a short business meeting and to hear:

Simon Kenton, Frontiersman ---  Dave Altman presents a historical narrative of the settlement of the Indiana Territory, highlighting the life of Tecumseh and his conflicts with the advancing Americans. The story of Tecumseh, his brother the Prophet, William Henry Harrison, and others is told by the frontiersman, Simon Kenton, as he lived it. This narrative gives insight and details of our history that are not usually found in history books.
