Contract bids for the North Judson Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Wastewater project will be accepted until Monday, May 6th.
CommonWealth Project Engineer Rob Bellucci informed town council members why project officials scheduled bids to be due at that time.
He explained, “We correlated that to your first meeting in May so we’ll open bids at 6:30 and then you can immediately transition into your council meeting.”
Bellucci also told members that a pre-bid meeting with prospective contractors will be held in Town Hall at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 18th. At that time, those looking to work on the project will have a chance to learn more about what it entails and ask any questions that they may have.
He noted that it is not mandatory for council members to come to the pre-bid meeting but said if they wish to learn more about the project, they’re welcome to attend.
