The North Judson-San Pierre School Board is making some final preparations for the start of the school year tomorrow.
Superintendent Annette Zupin says board members approved some personnel items during a special meeting Monday. “That included teachers, paraprofessionals, cafeteria workers,” she explains. “We had a variety of positions to fill.” Zupin says the school board also approved the corporation’s bus driver manual for the year.
In other business Monday, board members voted to hire Benchmark Mechanical of Kokomo to replace an aging boiler in the middle school building. Zupin says approving the project now will help make sure the work is done before the cold weather arrives, while helping the corporation meet its November deadline.
