From WKVI:
Friday, Nov. 7 - Here's the latest superload travel information from INDOT
The state of Indiana has permitted Barnhart Crane and Rigging Co. to close portions of U.S. 421 and the U.S. 30 eastbound lanes over the next two nights for a slow-moving, oversize load. Last night’s move from Burns Harbor to Westville was completed successfully and the superload remains on schedule.
Short-term closures of cross streets will be needed as the truck moves through the area. In Marshall County, law enforcement will direct the superload over the entrance and exit ramps at S.R. 331 and U.S. 31 to avoid the bridges passing over U.S. 30.
Below is more detail about the routes planned each night as the superload makes its approximately 185-mile route through Indiana. Where roads are only two lanes wide, the highway section will be closed with no way to pass the 15 MPH convoy.
Tonight: U.S. 6 and U.S. 421 south of Westville to U.S. 30 east. Load will stop on the right lane and shoulder of U.S. 30 just east of U.S. 35 near Hamlet.
Night 3: Continue east over the entrance and exit ramps at S.R. 331 and U.S. 31 back onto U.S 30 to S.R. 9 south. Pull off along S.R. 9 near S.R. 114.
Night 4: Continue on S.R. 9 south to S.R. 124 east. Pull off along S.R. 124 just east of Bluffton.
Night 5: Continue on S.R. 124 east into Ohio.
