There Was a Terrible Accident at Our Halloween Village!!!!!

(Well, it you might not consider to be that bad if you like cats.)

You see, one of the villagers decided they wanted to be a tiny bit taller, but the potion they brewed was too hot to drink so they put it aside to cool while they went out to buy cat food.  Unfortunately, their cat wasn’t picky about what it ate and lapped up almost the entire bowl of potion, knocking what little remained onto a pumpkin growing just below the window.  Now there is a monstrously large cat, and pumpkin, that the villagers would like have removed from the village before it gets too hungry.

To help them out, the Library is going to raffle off the cat, pumpkin included.  Next time you’re in the Library just fill in one of the tickets with your name and phone number.  The drawing will be on October 26th so the cat, and pumpkin, will have a new home before Halloween.
