Computer Classes @ Pulaski County Extension Office

Classes at the Purdue Learning Center in the Pulaski County Extension Office are starting again. Cost is $30 for classes unless indicated and are offered 1-3 p.m. or 6-8 p.m. unless indicated.

August 11, 12 & 13 – Getting Started With Computers

August 18 & 20 – Basic Word

August 27 & 31 – Basic Excel

September 2 & 3 – Intermediate Word

September 8, 9, & 10 – Getting Started With Computers

September 15 & 22 – Getting With Your Tablet

September 17 & 24 – Intermediate Excel

September 29 & 30 – Basic Excel

October 5 – Cellphone Apps, 6-8 p.m. (Free)

October 8 – Facebook, 6-8 p.m. (Free)

October 20 & 22 – Getting Started With Your iPad, 6-8 p.m.

Purdue Extension of Pulaski County Learning Lab Computer Classes

Computer Classes at Purdue Extension of Pulaski County Learning Lab will be starting up again soon.

The following classes will be offered at either 1-3 p.m. or 6-8 p.m. Eastern time, at the County Building in Winamac.  Cost of the classes is $30 each and you can sign up by calling 574-946-3412.

Getting Started With Computers – August 4th, 5th, and 7th OR September 9th, 10th, and 11th.

Basic Word – September 2nd and 4th OR October 27th and 28th

Intermediate Word – September 22nd and 25th

Basic Excel – August 11th and 14th OR October 1st and 2nd

Intermediate Excel – September 16th and 18th OR October 22nd and 23rd

Power Point – October 6th and 7th

Publisher – October 8th and 9th

EBay (Free Class) – September 30th (6 to 8 p.m. only)

Register Now for Computer Classes Offered by the SCILL Center

The SCILL Center is offering computer classes.

The first class will be on Tuesday, March 18 at 5 p.m. CT at the Starke County Economic Development Foundation in Knox. This will be an introductory class where students will learn computer software; terminology; using the mouse; selecting, inserting, deleting, saving, opening, and printing documents; creating folders, movement between windows, customizing a desktop and more.

Other classes will be offered, including an Intro to Word Class on Wednesday, April 16; Intro to Excel on Monday, May 5; Advanced Excel on Tuesday, June 10; and Publisher/PowerPoint on Wednesday, June 25.
