READ With Me At The Library!

Our Reading Education Assistance Dog (READ) program is making a change this year.  Anubis has worked on her calendar and will be available for appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the first and third Saturday of the month.  Anyone wishing to read aloud to Anubis is encouraged to call 574-896-2841 and we can set up a date and time. 

READ Fur Me, Jr.

Hooowdy, my name is Anubis and I would like to share some of my favorite books with you.

Starting in September I will be part of a new program for dog lovers from preschool through 2nd grade called “READ Fur Me, Jr.”

Join me at the North Judson-Wayne Township Library on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month at 11 a.m. I’ve arranged for someone to read you some of the books I have enjoyed as part of the regular “READ Fur Me” program.

Be sure you sign up so we can keep track of how many sessions you attend. When all the spaces on your card have been punched by the staff, you’ll get to pick something out of the treat drawer and my mommy promises there won’t be any old bones.

At least, there won’t be any old bones for you!!!

READ Fur Me

With school starting on August 18th we haven't planned much for the month; there is just too much to do to get ready for classes and, especially for 4-H members, to get in a bit of last minute relaxation.

However, we will have "READ Fur Me" sessions on Saturday, August 15th, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and again on Thursday, August 20th, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
