Town Convention Not Needed for North Judson Town Council Seats

August 1 at noon was the deadline to file as a candidate for two at-large seats on the North Judson Town Council.

According to the Starke County Voter Registration Clerk, three people have filed who include Republicans Scott Pajor and Josh Brown and Democrat John Rowe. In order for a town convention to be held, more than two candidates per political party would have to file for the positions. As it stands, the seats will be determined by North Judson voters on the November General Election ballot.
