NIPSCO is offering customers a new way to keep track of their energy usage. “My Energy Scorecard” provides a custom energy report. It compares a home’s energy usage to similar-sized homes in the same climate zone. The report will be delivered to customers via email six times this year.
To get started, customers need to visit www.MyEnergyScorecard.com and complete a property profile. NIPSCO officials say it includes layers of information about the customer’s home and insight for future reports.
Once the property profile is completed, users can also analyze historical usage data, monitor progress and see the results of their changing energy use behaviors.
NIPSCO Manager of Energy Efficiency Programs Pauline Katsouros says the reports provide valuable insights in an easy-to-understand format. They can be accessed on a computer, smart phone or tablet.
NIPSCO’s residential energy efficiency programs are administered by GoodCents, a third-party implementation specialist that helps homes save energy. Questions can be directed to GoodCents at 1-800-721-7385.
