Since March 8th Strut the Rooster watched anxiously as people
filled in slips of paper with the number of eggs they thought were in the jar
with him. Their guesses ranged from a
low of 50 to a high of 2,400.
His ordeal ended on March 30th when Ann Rose, his hero, released
him from the jar holding him captive.
Her guess of 532 mini eggs in the jar was the closest, without
going over, to the actual number of 554.
Strut
wants to thank everyone who took part in the attempt to release him. He vows that next year he will just stay at
home and let someone else help the Easter Bunny.
